Suitable deals continued to work on Brooklyn Nets side. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have been two key players on the team. However, Nets also welcomed James Harden to join.
The trade was made possible with a package deal that was offered by Nets.
According to ESPN, their deal with Houston Rockets was processed after Nets revealed their proposal of their players, trading Center Jarrettt Allen and Forward Taurean Prince, over to the Cavaliers.
Additionally, Rockets will pick up Cleveland guard Dante Exum followed by Brooklyn Forward Rodions Kurucus.
The deal works out for the Rockets too as three of Nets’ unprotected first round draft picks including the year of 2022-26, ESPN also reported.
More offers are in Houston’s’ possession as the Rockets will also receive Clevelands’ 2022 first round pick, by the Milwaukee Bucks, along with a second-round pick from the Indiana Pacers in the near future.
Another opportunity is presented before Nets as the team will receive a second round pick from the Cavaliers in two years.
Momentarily, the Nets have three roster spots to fill up... That’s if they decide a $5.7 million tax mid-level... which is the lowest exception and a probable factor of a $5.7 million for a player, Out of action, exception.
The trade of Harden coming to Brooklyn, from Houston, is a major deal. Simultaneously, the trade also benefits Rockets.
