The four cops who were involved with the murder of George Floyd have all been charged of second degree murder as of today.
Although they face charges, some of the ex officers gets additional charges. Only Derek Chauvin faces 2nd degree murder, TMZ reported.
However, three of the other ex cops, including Thoma Lane, J. Alexander Keung, and Tou Thao were charged with felonies for assisting Chauvin with the murder of Floyd. Furthermore, all three officers received manslaughter charges.
Update: Three of the cops are currently in custody as bail money is required up to $1 million.
