He's been off the radar in music for a few years up until this point when J. Cole surprisingly announced the date of his upcoming album entitled The Off-Season." His message was delivered publicly via twitter recently.
Despite no mention of featured artists or further mentions of the trackless, Cole revealed the artwork oof his album cover. Additionally, his announcement was also came with a date release.
"Just know this was years in the making," Cole stated in his announcement. "My new album The Off-Season available everywhere 5/14."
With Cole's statement prior to his release, you can guess he's been working privately... very privately on his upcoming project.
