With many of his singles that he released, it had such an impact in hip hop culture as he became a legend in music for his hometown of Yonkers New York. Earl "DMX" Simmons started his rap career in the 90's where he released his debut album "It's Dark And Hell Is Hot," in 1998, which included his classic and memorable singles like "Ruff Ryders' Anthem," "Look Into My Eyes," "I Can Feel It," "Stop Being Greedy," "X Is Coming," "How's It Goin," and Down."
Along with releasing classic singles, he was also responsible for representing Ruff Ryders label a long with other legendary artists in the likes of EVE, Swiss Beats, Jada Kiss, and Styles P, ever since the debut of the group in 1988 formed by Joaquin Dean.
Sadly, DMX passed away after being hospitalized when he was suffering from a drug over dose where he ended up in a coma, and shockingly passed away at the age of 50 years old.
"We are deeply sadden to announce today that our loved one, DMX, birth name Earl Simmons, passed away at 50 years old at White Plains Hospital with his family by his side after being placed on life support for the past few days," his family announced on the day of his passing, yesterday, CNN reported. "Earl was a warrior who fought til the very end,"his family also mentioned. "He loved his family with all of his heart and we cherish the times we spent with him."
Forget about his troubles. The best side of Simmons was his influence that he provided in music. Simmons made a major impact in the hip hop game which will forever be streamed by all of his fans, who appreciated DMX's music.
