A major flood destroyed the majority areas in the Bahamas Monday afternoon as a result of hurricane Dorian arrival as the weather nightmare destroyed more than just the land but also homes and businesses, adding up to five deaths.
Hurricane Dorian, recognized as a category 4 storm, was illustrated by residents as buzz-saw like winds fractured homes, downpour neighborhoods, and left th community in fear of their lives, according to ABC News.
Reactions of hurricane Dorian caused fear in people like Bruce Sawyer, a resident in Abaco Islands, who witnessed the actions of of damaged items and properties. "There's houses that are torn apart. There's tree limbs in the road," he mentioned. "There's no green shrubbery left. It's just shredded," Sawyer added.
An evacuation has been issued prior to Bahamas Governor Ron DeSantis for communities in th casual area from Nassau County, Palm Beach County and closely the Georgia boarder which is a distance of 361 miles, ABC News also reported.
"If you're ordered to evacuate, you need to do that," DeSantis also said in his statement. "Get out now while you have time."
