Legendary actor who was best known for his role as "Pops," on the hit comedy series "Wayne Brothers," and his role as Willie Jones on the classic comedy film "Friday," John Witherspoon has shockingly passed away as of last night as a result of cardiac arrest.
According to TMZ, Witherspoon's family announced his suuden death as they
mentioned that his passing occurred Tuesday at his Sherman Oaks, California home."It is with deep sadness that we have to tweet this," their statement includes. "Our husband and father John Witherspoon has passed away."
His family also mentioned his legacy in the comedy business when they highlighted his career. " He was a legend in the entertainment industry, and a father figure to all of us who watched him over the years We love you 'Pops' always and forever."
He was an actor who's energetic performance made People laugh and remember to this day.
