New York Set To Reopen, Advised By Cuomo

Quarantine will slowly come to an end, and it starts real soon after New York Governor Andrew Cuomo recently announced that phase 1 of resuming businesses is set to move forward as of June 8.

According to CBS News, businesses that are part of phase 1 includes construction followed by manufactures and retail stores, with the ruling of curbside pick ups.

Approximately, 400,000 employees can return for work in the positions of retail, construction, and manufacture, as mentioned by Cuomo.

Phase 2 of businesses reopening indicates that office jobs can resume by a 50% capacity, CBS News also reported. Furthermore, in-door store shopping can also resume at a 50% capacity but employees are expected to wear face masks. However, malls will stay closed.

Phase 2 will also allow barbershops, and hair salons to reopen but with restrictions which explains that only appointments are recommended and employees are to be tested every two weeks.
