The Brooklyn community is sadden after rising hip hop artist Pop Smoke was shot, and murdered at a home in the Hollywood Hills about 4:30am Wednesday Morning. It was then revealed that two men were involved of his murder.
According to TMZ, two men who were in hoodies and masks, are idetified as a main suspect who broke into te artst's home. They fired many shots at him until he was critically wounded. Afterwards, the suspects were seen escaping the crime scene on foot.
Smoke was hurried to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, via ambiance, in West Hollywood where the Brooklyn artist was pronounced dead.
The suspects haven't been identified or caught at this time or if Smoke was in associates with either men. However, one man was placed in custody as a possible suspect, yet, cops later came to a conclusion that he wasn't involved, and was later released, TMZ also reported.
Although motives of both suspects are unknown momentarily, they've managed to track him down after the 20 year old artist posted hhis address of the Hollywood home on Instagram.
Newsfeed on Instagram were flooded with sadden posts of reactions from users who were close to artist like his older brother Mike Dee.
"CANT NOTHING EXPRESS THE PAIN IM FEELING ....I JUST LOST MY FU***** BROTHER, MY HEART MY DAWGZ YOU GUYS HAVE NO TYPE OF SENSE OR SYMPATHY !," he writes. "WE LIVE IN SUCH A FUCKED UP SOCIETY YALL GOTTA WAKE UP. JUST KNO I GOT YOU FOREVER BROTHER THE TRUTH WILL COME TO LIGHT UNTIL THEN SLEEP IN PEACE..."
TMZ reported that sources well-known of the surveillance video stated that the video shows almost four masked men in their hoodies approached the house just 10 minute after people within the house made sure the door was locked shut. Furthermore, their house alarm wasn't found on which made it less difficult for intruders to enter his home.
The public property of where he stayed in Hollywood is registered to "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Teddi Mellencamp.
Smoke worked in the hip hop game for two years until he became extraordinary popular after the release of his single "Welcome To The party."
RIP to Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke, who will forever be remembered as a positive person who released turn up music like "Shake The Room."
