It's a difficult situation at this time for Taylor Swift's mom, and herself, as the Grammy-award winning country singer revealed that her mom is diagnosed with a brain tumor while fighting breast cancer for a second time.
She revealed Andrea Swift's health issues during a discussion of her upcoming Netflix documentary entitled "Miss Americana," on Tuesday, which is set to premiere this week at the Sundance Film Festival, according to TMZ. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor march of last year.
"While she was going through treatment, they found a brain tumor. And the symptoms of what a person goes through when they have a brain tumor is nothing like what we've ever been through with her cancer before," Swift explained to Variety. "So it's just been a really hard time for us as a family."
Swift has withdrawn herself from committed tour dates for this year. In addition, the country artists has set limits to herself from being in attendance to just for stadium scheduled dates in America followed by a festival circuit in Europe. The schedule will allow her to stay nearby her mom.
Taylor mentioned, "I mean, we don't know what is going to happen," TMZ also reported. "We don't know what treatment we're going to choose. It just was the decision to make at the time, for right now, for what's going on."
