Zoo Rass Details Concepts Of 'T.E.N.: The Essence Of Nature' Project

With a decade of releasing projects, in the likes of "Attraction" and "Mood Swings," Dance Hall artist Zoo Rass has quietly worked on a project that symbolizes his commitment in music entitled T.E.N. (The Essence of Of Nature). Additionally, his new project is a representation of his growth as an artist.

His project was a process to put together since September and with the amount of time he spent to release it, Rass considers his project his best work... especially considering that he's elevated himself as a Dance Hall artist.

"My mindset was that coming into the new year this will be my 10th year as an artist so I wanted to put together a body of work with ten powerful tracks," he revealed. "I wanted to talk about my growth and journey throughout my ten years as well as show how much my sound has matured and the overall versatility of me as an artist," he continued.

Listening to Rass's project, you can definitely experience his growth as an artist through the smooth-impactful vibes that he delivered in his latest project with singles like "10 Years," "Blessings," and "Journey." Rass's project consist of not only his new releases but also one of his classics entitled "It Wasn't Me," feat. Willis Love.

The combination of his classics and new singles is also a show of Rass's elevation in music. "I would 100% describe this project as representation of growth," he expressed. "When you listen to these tracks you can hear the growth of my sound, melodies, substance but most important to me is the songwriting."

With the amount of work that Rass has put into his new project, he's most proud of the result of his release because there's exactly ten tracks which guides you through Rass's time spent to work on his project... In comparison to his pervious releases which consist of less than ten songs as explained by the Dance Hall artist.

"All my other projects has just been smaller projects such as EPs and a mixtape. I only did a project once with ten tracks or more and that was a mixtape with a lot of sampled production and that was a Soundcloud exclusive," Rass detailed of his previous releases which differs from the T.E.N. project.

"Other than that all my EPs will be between 4-7 tracks. But on "T.E.N" I chose to put out a full body of work with ten tracks with no samples and will be available everywhere."

There's more anticipation with his project as Rass included a few collaborations. Along with Willis Love, he went on to send out more invitations for artists to be on his project. Afrobeats' artists Alhaji Currency and Hero are definitely featured on his project for his single "Oh Nah Nah."

Furthermore, Carribbean artist Brooklyn MC Jaye Archer, of Ransom Entertainment, S.Gee and Anika Berry, are also featured on his project. "They all did their thing to help bring this project to life," he complimented.

The mindset behind his release was mainly to share his growth as a Dance Hall artist with his listeners. Along with his growth, some of Rass's singles are meaningful to him which includes "Blessings," "10 Years," "Journey," and "Did You Know."

"When the listeners hear these tracks I want them to know that growth is very important and will come with both ups and downs," Rass explained. There's various circumstances of the way a person acts towards another person as Rass touched based how their moods are revealed through their actions. However, the positive outcome is to be thankful.

"You’ll encounter people who doubt you, friends will switch up on you and people will hang on to you just incase you make it but no matter what be thankful for every experience because it is apart of your growing process," he pointed out.

Amongst the mindset of Rass's "T.E.N.: The Essence Of Nature" project, as a positive vibe, there's a message and it's also relatable in the first half of his project. Continuously, the second half is a vibe that brings out a different perspective based on a "care free vibe." His project also involves music that people can hear at possibly any functions as noted by Rass.

His project is generally a combination of Dance Hall along with plenty of Genres, he also explained. "If you’re an overall fan of MUSIC then you’ll love this project." Rass's new project is available on all streaming platforms .
