Areal Star: I'm definitely like a people-person. I want to honestly help people and I think I just started that learn that about myself, but more specifically help women because I feel like so many times a lot of girls feel like they need to be with this man or boy. I really want to help women feel more empowered and feel like they can move on or they can be this amazing woman that they seem themselves being.

Areal Star: I feel like not enough people are just doing straight R&B. It's definitely not big. We're missing that true R&B feel. Back in the day, I just feel like we had so much R&B music, like so many good hits. Now, people just aren't really targeting like the R&B audiences. I feel like we are gonna get to a point where we're like R&B would come back.

Areal Star: Definitely, I actually have a couple of records that I'm coming out with that do lean more towards R&B. I ave a record called "Admit It." That record is like the real R&B, it makes you feel.

I'm releasing my project "Between Me And You." I was hopping for June... it might get pushed back just a little bit due to Covid-19 but definitely I'm gonna be releasing it this year. I have a few music videos that I'm gonna shoot once this stuff is all over.
News For People: What motivate you to continue your journey in the music industry?
Areal Star: What motivates me the most is my family. Crazy enough, my grandmother just passed away and she was really one of my biggest inspirations. She took care of me when I was younger. Se really believed in me. She always tried to support me in every way that she could and so honestly it made me feel really sad because I wanted her, in the physical realm, see me pop up and everything but she was ere for as long as she could. She's definitely, at this point, she's definitely gonna be my biggest inspiration forsure.
News For People: What advise would you give to a young artist who's also pursuing a career in music?
Areal Star: Definitely go hard and stay consistent. That's the biggest ting because I feel like, especially if your going to school , and working, it's so easy to fall of on being consistent as you need to be... I know because Ive dealt with that, and it can really get in the way of what your really trying to do, so you just have to go really really hard. Consistency, that's the main thing.
