Quietly, R&B artist of Isa Marina has been working on a new release but not just one as she released three singles in a short period of time. Her entitled tracks includes "Dangerous," "Without the You," and "Guaya" Where Marina provides different strategy of her vocals for each of her songs.
The temple of the beats matches along with her vocals for each single, and it makes the listeners tuned in throughout the entire single that listeners hear. Some of the elements of her singles like "Without You," is a connection in ways like like dealing with emotions through challengeable circumstances.
New singles are released but sometime in the future, Marina could possibly release an album but momentarily she's looking into supporting more artists in the music industry.
Check out Marina's single below where the singer discusses the definition behind all three of her latest singles:
What would you like people to know about your latest single "Without You"?
This song focuses on the stage of a breakup, where more than melancholy, one is angry, and
lamenting the time, energy, and resources invested in said relationship. It’s almost as if that
time, energy, and love have just evaporated into thin air overnight. It’s a tough and confusing
place to be; it can be truly crushing and infuriating. It’s something that I know we’ve all
experienced, and it hurts so much more when it happens in a connection where at one point,
that would’ve never seemed possible.
What inspired the mindset of your latest single?
I was in the process of healing and truly making peace with my past; making peace with those emotions and the pain experienced. Every experience is a lesson and a testimony, that one can overcome even the worst of heartbreaks. We have to always value ourselves and know our worth first. Bitterness is toxic.
How has the response been since the release of "Without You"?
The response has been amazing and has truly exceeded my expectations. I’m so grateful! So
many people and platforms have embraced it tremendously.
Is there a music video for your single in the works?
A music video is not in the works right now; my focus is creating fun and stimulating visualizer pieces for each of my singles.
What can people expect from your upcoming single “Guaya”?
Guaya showcases a new side of me. I’m an OG lover of Reggaeton, and it’s so exciting to finally be able to create my own Reggaeton influenced track in Spanish. It’s a positive, new mark on my path.
Are you currently working on releasing a new album?
Let's just say, that album ideas are in the works!
How did you plan out the concepts of “Dangerous" ?
“Dangerous” came naturally. I’m so grateful for my co-writer, Chandra Rhyme. She really helped me tap into those emotions in the studio, in order to properly showcase them on paper. I wanted to create a song that intrinsically painted the emotions that arise when one finds themselves in the depths of love, in an intimate and deeply spiritual connection. This song was truly a specialmoment for me; probably my most pure declaration of love in my art - to date.
Very direct and candid; it’s truly special to me (I fought through tears while recording it in the studio).
What can people expect from your upcoming single "Guaya''?
A new side of me that I haven’t fully shown before.
How is your upcoming single “Guaya" different from previous singles?
This is my 1st Spanish-language track! So it’s special in its own right. It’s uptempo; very bold
and direct. “Guaya” is about enforcing one’s boundaries. We’re unfortunately living in a society where many men feel that they have some sort of ownership over women, sexually (we’ve seen it play out with the numerous attacks on women and the obscene rise in domestic violence and femicide). That they can simply take you out to dinner one good time, and all of sudden you“owe” them sex.
And quite frankly, no, that is not the way things are. Whether you are my friend,
whether you’re dating or just getting to know me, you need to respect me. Period. This song
was super important for me to write because, as human beings we reserve the right to have
basic human respect. Men need to know that women, and no-one for that matter, “owes” them sex.
Nobody owes anyone sex. I’m not just here to “guayar”. I’m an intellectual, a human being
with thoughts, feelings, and ideas, and that boundary is to be respected and abided by at all
times.
What else can people expect from you as an Artist?
More new music and compelling content. I’m really hoping to lend a helping hand to fellow up and comers in the industry.
