Knicks Big Time Wins


Momentum in the 2020-2021 NBA season is currently on the New York Knicks side as the team earned four straight wins against other tough teams like Memphis Grizzlies, Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Lakers, and tonight versus New Orleans Pelicans despite efforts that their opponents on the court.


Right after the tipoff, Knicks was in possession of the ball, in the first quarter, and since then Knicks showed dominance with ongoing score. Trailing behind wasn't an option for Pelicans as Jaxson Hayes, and Zion Williamson both scored in their right to ensu/re that their team isn't behind in points as the score was 22-21 with Pelicans in the lead momentarily.


It looked like Knicks were in a little trouble as Williams continued to score buckets. However, Knicks were determined to keep their current three straight win streak in tact as they managed to make it a tie game seconds before heading into the second quarter.


It was all business that was handled by the Knicks as they. scored multiple shots which changed the landscape of the scoreboard as it was 40-32, with Knicks gaining the lead but thanks to Derek Rose's lay-up, the score escalated for New York as it became a 10 point lead.


Heading into the third quarter, Williams combined to show a great amount of effort to the moment where Pelicans trailed a little bit behind, yet, another shot Was delivered, one of which by Brandon Ingram, to insure they regain the lead as t.e score was 57-55.


It was an intense game as both teams were close range in points as they played aggressively but the Knicks picked up a fourth straight victory over the Pelicans to keep moving forward with their streak as the final score was 116-106.


The Knicks next game is scheduled for this Friday at 9:30pm against Dallas Mavericks on the ESPN Network.
