It was a tough series for the Lakers when they faced Denver Nuggets in previous weeks. However, L.A. managed to advance in the NBA Finals after they've defeated Nuggets last night with a 4-1 lead. With the mindset of playing aggressive, Lakers earned another victory to advance in the finals.
Both teams played at a head to head pace as Nuggets made an effort against Lakers throughout their series, yet, L.A. was all business. After a strong block, within the second quarter, Rajon Rondo passed the ball into an alley-loop by Anthony Davis too remain in the lead. By then, Lakers remained in the lead as the score was 42-53.
With continued shots made by Davis, followed by Lebron James and Dwight Howards throughout the game, Lakers defeated Nuggets in a close game as the final score was 117-107, became Western Conference Champions
