With strategized passing by the Lakers early in last night's game against Denver Nuggets, they've managed to take the lead within the first quarter despite Nuggets playing hard to catch up. However, Denver managed to not trail behind for long after Nikola Jokic scored a layup, making it a tie game worth 32 points within the first quarter of game one between Denver Nuggets an Los Angeles Lakers at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
Nuggets weren't fished handling business until Jamal Murray provided a three-point play, before the buzzer, to take the lead against Lakers as the points added up to Denver 38 to Lakers 36.
Th whole mood changed during the first few minutes of the second quarter after Lebron James provided an unforgiving dunk making the score 42-38. Lakers momentum continued from that moment with an assist by Rajon Rondo to Markieff Morris who scored a three-point play to make the score 45-39 as Lakers remained in the lead.
Lakers showed no mercy as Alex Caruso alley-looped the ball to James who then dunked it with authority, escalating the score 50-39. Thought the remaining tim of the second quarter, and heading into the third quarter, Lakers were in complete control and their strategy of playing aggressive showed on the scoreboard as the points were 72-59.
Another alley-loop was delivered by Lakers when Rondo provided an effective pass to Dwight Howard in order to execute a dominate dunk to show that his team is no joke. The score was 88-71 as Nuggets were in trouble.
Although Nuggets were slowly catching up to their points, Lakers put up an effective game plan as they were victorious, making the final score 126-114, as Lakers leads the series, 1-0. Their next game against Nuggets is scheduled for Tomorrow night at 7:30 followed by Tuesday night at 9pm.
