It was a challenged start of game one for the L.A. Lakers when they faced Miami Heat last night in Orlando. However, they managed to pick up some momentum when Anthony Davis delivered a lay-up which caused a tie game worth 28 points. Lakers wasn't finished as Alex Caruso scored a three pointer just seconds before the end of the first quarter, making the score 31-28.
Miami was able to catch up to within a three-point shoot out between both teams, yet, Lakers remained in the lead after Davis scored a three-pointer of his own to change the score, 47-23 in the second quarter. Lakers were on a dominate path and it showed on the scoreboard as it was 65-48 with Lakers still in the lead.
With three-point shots made by Lebron James and Danny Green, Lakers continued their momentum as the score escalated, 72-51, in the beginning of the third quarter. It was showtime for Davis as he delivered another shot followed by a slam dunk with authority.
Lakers were up 25 points by the fourth quarter as the score was 95-70. However, James's lay-up allowed Lakers a victory over Heat. These two teams are scheduled to meet in game 2, this Friday at 9pm on the ABC Network.
