Lebron James Surrounded By Accusations Of Stealing Famous Slogan From Youth Org.

Legal actions are currently aimed at Lebron James after a youth organization known as Game Plan hit the NBA champ with a lawsuit, and wants more than $33 million, claiming that James has stolen their slogan "More Than An Athlete" to use it for his Uninterrupted brand.

According to TMZ, the Maryland non-profit organization claims they've been in possession of the "I Am More Than An Athlete" slogan since 2016. However, the trademark has been collected by the organization in 2018. Game Plan is an organization that supports young athletes to achieve success in professional sports.

With accusations of slogan-thief aimed at the MVP star, their problem with James suggest that the organization is assured that he noticed their staffs with the "More Than An athletes" shirts on while attending the Cleveland Cavaliers vs Washington Wizards game, with John Wall, two years ago, and that's when he decided to steal their idea for his brand.

"The attendance at the game gave Game Plan tremendous exposure, as it was able to gain attention from John Wall in front of his peers including the (arguably) most famous athlete in the world, as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, at the time, LeBron James," their lawsuit states, TMZ reported.

Although there's no response from James prior to the current situation, his Uninterrupted brand responded on his behalf. ""The complaint filed by Game Plan today is meritless and contains numerous factual inaccuracies," the brand responded. "Uninterrupted owns prior rights in and to the 'More Than An Athlete' trademark," TMZ also reported.

Uninterrupted isn't the only brand on Game Plan's lawsuit-list which includes Nike, Disney, and Take-Two Interactive Software Inc.
