NBA Hall Of Fame Pushed Until 2021

The original plan of this years NBA Hall Of Fame was expected to be held on August 29th at the Symphony Hall in Springs Field, Massachusetts with Kobe Bryant headlining the ceremony as Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett joins the NBA legend. However, a decision was made to postpone the ceremony until next year as a result of the pandemic.


According to TMZ, the Hall Of Fame was set to occur from August 28-30 with a possible back up plan to switch dates to October 10-12. In addition, Governors of the Hall Of Fame Board are scheduled to meet on June 10 to plan an official date for Spring 2021, as suggest by Hall Of Fame Manager Jerry Conlangelo.

Possible changes may occur but the class of 2020 and 2021 will follow In a similar calendar year. Furthermore, Conlangelo also stated that the ceremony will not be held in one weekend prior to the class of 2020 in which Conlangelo stated that the class "deserves its own celebration."
