The game was in complete control by Brooklyn Nets, throughout the first quarter, against Boston Celtics last night at the TD Garden in Boston. However, Celtics refused to be outplayed as they managed to not trail too behind in points when they played competitively as the score was 15-14 early in the quarter, even though Nets took the lead.
A quick shot recovery was provided after Jarrett Allen captured the ball and slammed the ball into the net. Kevin Durant attempted to make a shot but Jeff Green made sure that Durant's shot counted when he made a slam dunk.
It was a two point game during the second quarter with the Nets still in control as the score was 26-24. Once more, Nets handled business with the ball movement when Caris Levert passed it to Taurean Prince who then scored a three-point shot which made the score 30-28, which is the moment when Nets regained the lead.
Surprisingly, Celtics managed to take the lead against the Nets as the scorer shifted 43-39. However, Kyrie Irving made a three-point play to not have his team trail so behind and he wasn't done ate that moment. Irving delivered another three-point shot to make the score 45-43 to reclaim the lead.
The score changed once more in the start of the third quarter after Marcus Smart made a three-point shot for his Celtics teammates. Durant quickly put a stop to the Celtics lead when he made three layups to reclaim the lead for his team as the score changed again, 60-59.
With a three-point play, and an assist to DeAndre Jordan who dunked the ball into the hoop, Durant was on fire as no one on the Celtics were able to end his momentum. Irving's layup also allowed his team to escalate their points, 68-63. Still, Celtics weren't far behind in points but Nets took back the lead.
Another three-point play by Irving has caused the Nets to continue gaining points, and Durant followed up with a slam dunk as the sore was 80-70.
It was a back and forth game throughout the third quarter until the Nets played with a tougher strategy as they picked up a huge lead, after scoring non-stop buckets. The score was 95-79 early in the fourth quarter.
The game was owned by Brooklyn Nets when more shots were delivered until the last few seconds of the game and the final score was 123-95 as Nets defeated Celtics.
