Nets Score Major Points After Durant And Irving Pick Up

Updated: Jul 1, 2019

The 2019-2020 NBA season just might be the year for Brooklyn Nets as the team picked up two all-star players in the free agent group, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. It was a win for Nets as they proposed an offer to both newly teammates that was impressive enough to reach an agreement.

According to ESPN, Durant has agreed to pen his name to a four-year contract nearly worth $164 million. Furthermore, Durant and Irving are expected to receive less than the original pay of their contract which is officially the amount between $4 million and $5 million on a yearly basis as of this Saturday.

This is a shock to Knicks fans in regards to Durant considering that multiple reports suggested there was a chance for the small forward player to join their team, yet, no deal was finalized.
