With the upcoming NBA Draft set for June 20, eyes are set on Anthony Davis for a trade from both the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers. It's possible that he could be traded considering that a negotiation is in progress between both teams, furthermore, the executive vice president of basketball operations highly suggests to make that move official sources of the league mentioned.
According to ESPN, Lakers have a package of players ready for a trade if they want him to join their team, including guard Lonzo Ball and forward Brandon Ingram, however, they plan to keep Kyle Kozma in their hometown. Lakers and Celtics are not the only teams who has an interest on Davis as Brooklyn Nets wants the power-forward player too.
Meanwhile, Celtics set up a different strategy in mind for Davis as they have hopes for Kyrie Irving to remain a key player for the team, yet, there's a small twist where the six time All-Star considered to get a possible trade deal with Nets if Kevin Durant was to join, according to sources.
That option isn't meant to be at this point after Durant suffered an injury in Game 5 of Warriors vs Raptors.
