Wait a minute. Russell Westbrook has been with Oklahoma City Thunders for 11 years so with his trade to Houston Rockets, it's clear that loyal fans of the 30 year old nine time All-Star may come as a shock after he was traded for Chris Paul.
Looks like Westbrook has no worries though as he reunites with James Harden who is familiar with his skills on the court, considering the fact that they were once teammates when Harden was a star player for Thunders during the 2011-2012 season. Kevin Durant played alongside with both players at the time as the three players lead OKC to the NBA Finals.
Harden was then traded to Rockets that summer where he became a key player as he picked up the title as an All-Star.
OKC made it to the finals with all three players despite their loss against then-Miami Heats' Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh who defeated them five times. If the NBA makes Westbrook's move to the Rockets established,Houston can be considered a serious threat in the 2019-2020 season and for that matter, the whole league.
